Bad a*s Paint Mick Cassidy, proprietor I have never even HEARD of such poor treatment by a company to a first-time potential customer. Los Angeles, CA Internet!!. I should have gone online to read about this company’s reputation and behavior BEFORE I actually contacted the owner of this clip joint, “Bad a*s Paint.” In all my years, I have never heard of such treatment by what he contends is a “professional, custom paint company.” In the only other review on ‘Bad a*s Paint’ I saw posted on The Ripoff Scams, the other poor customer’s complaint againt the proprietor, Mick Cassidy, was eerily similar to my horrific experience with this barely functioning psychopath. It started when I asked for an online estimate on a small painting job, just an old candy bowl that I needed painted yellow. When I received his estimate for the job, his answer was, “$1,500 to $2,000 dollars, easy.” I was shell shocked. That was TWENTY TIMES WHAT THE CANDY BOWL COST. I could have purchased a used car with this kind of money! When I complained about the ludicrous price, he replied, “You get what you pay for,” even after I told him that I’d already found another custom painter called “Attitude Custom Painting” who offered to do the same job for only “$50, not including materials.” When I expressed my outrage at his pricing, instead of just letting the matter die, he just wrote back tonight: “HEY S*** STAIN YOU KEEP COMING BACK GO (((REDACTED INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE))) Now compare what he just said to me with the previous negative report of his company on this same page, and you’ll see the same history of verbal abuse on a level I have never encountered, by any company, any time, anywhere. To call him a racist sociopath would be truly underestimating my concerns. My next stop is the Department of Consumer Affairs with a formal complaint against Mick Cassidy and Bad a*s Paint. He certainly lives up to his company name, but not in the way you’d expect. If you use this company, you do so at your own risk.
